Let My Country Awake
Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high; Where knowledge is free; Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls; Where words come out from the depth of truth; Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection; Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the dreary desert sand of dead habit; Where the mind is lead forward by thee into ever-widening thought and action – Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake. ~ Rabindranath Tagore ~
This wonderful poem came to me in an email forwarded from a friend. The email itself is of an Astrological nature, talking in depth about the influence a Capricorn New Moon can have, is having, in the world.
Although I don’t normally spend a lot of time thinking about Astrology, and I will not be spending a lot of time writing about it either, I find the information extremely interesting! Since everything is energy, of course, Astrology plays its role. In this case, the energy of a Capricorn New Moon certainly seems to be corresponding to the world we see going on around us!
Here’s a brief quote from the text of the email by Cathy Pagano The Cosmic Story Newsletters:
“With this in mind, this Capricorn New Moon gives us a chance to plant the seeds of a new vision for our society, one that definitely embraces a more feminine viewpoint. We are going to be in the energy of the Pluto in Capricorn/ Uranus in Aries square for the next few years, so it’s not going to happen overnight, but each time we plant a new seed of change, vision and hope in our own lives, we become responsible for sharing it with our world. And that change ripples out into our environment. “
Those of you who know me and have heard me speak of my vision of the potential of our future and our need to take action will immediately see the connection.
There are no coincidences ~ I will leave for Washington DC tomorrow, with my vision, and will ride the energy where it takes me. My opportunity to attend the 57th Inauguration Ceremony of our 44th President approaches. I am very excited! Thank you, dear Reader, ~ I greatly appreciate your investment of time and attention and hope you find merit in what you find here. I welcome your comments, suggestions, and assistance in spreading hope for a vision of change ~ United, we can make a difference!
Namaste’ and the Warmest of Regards
Hi Lynda, Looks great. As you may know I have been a fan of Rabindrath Tagore’s writings for sometime.
Just one point of correction…I know that you know that Obama is our 44th president, and your fingers didn’t cooperate…they typed that he is our 57th paragraph. Hmmmm…wonder who will be our 57th ??!!!
Hope you are having a great time.
Teri
Thanks Teri! This is our 44th President, but the 57th Inauguration. I’ll get that confusion fixed, thanks for pointing it out!
ooops ! And look at me.. I misspelled “Rabindranath” and then said he is our 57th “paragraph.” Oh, and on re-reading I see another error I made. My fingers have a will of their own sometimes, too …oh too funny – big Chuckle!
LOL!
Teri
I think I understand the “57” now…I think this is our 57th inauguration, and our 44th president. Smiley face!
Correct, but the way I had it wasn’t clear – I believe it’s fixed now.
