Resurrection Bay Easter 2013
A few weeks ago I saw a graphic on Facebook that was a new Pledge of Allegiance. It read: “I pledge allegiance to the Earth and all the life it supports; One Planet Irreplaceable with respect and sustenance for all.” I really like it. I have no idea who came up with it, but I hope to meet them someday and hope they won’t mind me using it as inspiration and our using a portion of it in our motto. As I’ve been allowing the inspiration to guide me and discussing the concept with others, this new slightly altered
WE LOVE US Motto has evolved.
Weaving a fabric of unity
Embracing Earth as irreplaceable, and all life with respect
Love for everyone, unconditionally
Open, honest, truthful and transparent
Volunteerism in service to others
Everyone gets a voice and vote
Uniting the divided
Solving our problems together
